THE PURPOSE OF THIS COURSE
This course is for participants who are working within or aspire to work within PFMA compliant institutions including Government Departments, Constitutional Institutions and Public Entities. This will also enable them to formulate linkages between the Constitution and the PFMA and explain the roles and responsibilities Treasury, determine the implications of strategies planning, annual performance planning and budgeting.

This course is for persons who require an understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
The PFMA TRAINING will cover the following.
¨ Formulate linkages between the constitution and the PFMA

¨ Annual Performance Planning & budgeting in departments, constitutional institutions & public entities
¨ Demonstrating an understanding of different arrangements and measures in terms of the PFMA
¨ Corporate Governance
¨ Management Accounting
¨ Budgeting
¨ Apply effective Risk Management principles and internal control systems
¨ Identify and apply actions required for successful integration of the Supply Chain Management model into a government department’s management process.
