About this programme
This programme is one of a suite designed to address the national shortage of suitably qualified personnel in construction health and safety (H&S) management. The programme builds on the Introduction and Advanced Construction Health and Safety short programmes and equips participants with applied skills to manage all aspects of construction health and safety through the life cycle of the construction process through all its phases from project inception to demolition or deconstruction of the constructed facility or installation. The programme will provide participants with a well-rounded, broad educational experience that will equip them with the knowledge base, competences and skills, underpinned by the theories, methodologies and principles essential to the elective management of construction health and safety on construction projects (both private and public).
